China Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Fair (China Agricultural Fair) is sponsored by more than 16 ministries such as Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Agriculture etc, as well as Shaanxi Provincial Government. It is regularly held in Nov 5-9 every year in Yangling Agricultural Hi-tech Industries Demonstration Zone. With the most authoritative and established comprehensive fair in the field of hi-tech agriculture in China, it is regarded as "China Agricultural Olympic Fair". After decades of development, Yangling Agricultural Fair enjoys her reputation as one of the four most famous fairs in China: they are Yangling Agricultura Fair, Beijing Scientific-tech Exhibition Fair, Shenzhen Trade Fair and Shanghai Industrial Exhibition Fair.
In recent years, the level and scale of the fair are improving, which provides a stable and international exchange platform for new and high-tech agricultural techniques and products. According to incomplete figures, the past sessions attracted participants not only from all over China, but from over 22 countries and regions like America, Canada, France, Japan, etc. Admissions to the fair totaled around 1.47 million, including farmers, agricultural companies, research and education institutions as well as agencies. The latest four sessions appealed to more than 1 million participants. The total amount of project investment, trade of technology and products exceeded 20.3 billion RMB in the area of farming, forestry, water, animal, and agricultural machine. Over 5,000 people came to our free tech-training and consulting. Serving as a platform, CAF makes it possible for large quantities of agricultural hi-tech achievements to be transferred and practical techniques to be popularized. The information about science and technology, human resources, assets, goods and materials is therefore efficiently spread and disseminated across the country. Here in Yangling, technical, financial, and intellectual resources are well-combined.
